The R2 ECU is a sequential engine control system designed for 4 cylinder applications and V twin motorcycles. The enclosure is extruded 6061 aluminium that is environmentally sealed and features an Automotive 26 pin main connector.
The system is configured with 2 low impedance injector drivers and 2 direct coil drive outputs. Ignitor type smart coils can also be driven directly.
The R2 ECU utilizes a unique 5 tooth trigger wheel and single magnetic crank pickup for its high resolution engine rpm signal.
Main communications is via a high speed USB port. External data loggers or dash displays can be interfaced via a current loop or serial data output.

The R2 has the following standard inputs that can be recorded with the internal data logger or transmitted on a serial link to an external dash display
The R2 is a 2 or 4 cylinder system that supports 3D Fuel, Spark and Phase maps with 40 rpm sites and 20 load sites all user programmable.
The R2 ECU hosts a full line of control strategies including: Closed loop lambda, Boost Control, Idle speed, Engine Protection, Self Diagnostics and more.
