Steve Nicholson wins the Outlaw 10.5 class at the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas in his Nitrous powered 67 Corvette.
Nicholson not only made the switch to his new engine builder Sonnys but also switched to electronic fuel injection. "The guys at EFI Technology came out to the event and really helped" said the third generation racer.
"Switching to EFI was a recommended Sonnys deal. I get the same support from the EFI guys as I have fromn Sonny. Its an outstanding product. The stuffs been flawless from the first day we wired it."
This latest street car nationals victory makes Nicholsons third. He is the only 10.5 driver to win three, another remarkable accomplishment. The partnership between Nicholson, Sonny and EFI foretells even bigger and better things yet to come.
The Fuel injection, Ignition, Transmission and Nitrous systems are all controlled by the EFI Technology R8 ECU.
