Two-time world champion Rickie Smith wins the final round of the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Southern Nationals in Atlanta GA.

In the final Rahaim started to shake and pedaled it but got to hook up to get into the top half of the show. Bob Rahaim's incremental times: 60ft-0.981 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.146/180.79 mph, 1,000ft-5.290.
Smith launched hard and kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove into the number one spot. Rickie Smith's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.624, 660ft-3.905/195.65 mph, 1,000ft-4.988.
Smith who has dominated the Pro Mod championship class so far this year leads with 331 in the points with his closest rival Dany Rowe with 154.
The Fuel injection, Ignition and Nitrous systems are all controlled by the EFI Technology XTR ECU.
