Aaron Steinkey, whose ’68 Camaro is one of the quickest cars in the NHRA Top Sportsman class, collected career win No. 3 by stopping Chris Newman in the final. Steinkey was nearly unstoppable in the final with a .008 light and a 6.315 at 213.27 mph
While the final round was unopposed due to his opponent being unable to make the call, according to Pat Musi Racing Engines he demonstrated strong performance in the semifinals with a nearly perfect reaction time and impressive speed. This marks his fifth career win and sixth final round appearance.
In addition to his Top Sportsman car, Steinkey also utilizes a Musi 959 engine in his Top Dragster, running in the 6.10s at over 220 MPH in the quarter mile.
The Fuel injection, Ignition and Nitrous systems are all controlled by the EFI Technology R8 ECU.
