The VR1 is a compact single output Capacitive Discharge Ignition system that is designed as a direct replacement unit for the Lucas ignition box used on all Cosworth engines.
The Ignition is designed to be installed inside the stock Lucas housing and features built in voltage regulator and adjustable rev-limiter.
By using the supplied harness adaptor the Ignition connects to the stock Lucas connectors making it plug and play with existing equipment.

The VR1 CDI utilizes a proprietary high efficiency transformer and power stage design that allows full operation down to 10 volts.
Its compact design features an integrated heatsink with mil-spec connector allowing for a small lightweight package with high output.
