The X1 ECU is a sequential 4 cylinder engine control system that can also be used on batch fire 8 cylinder applications. The enclosure is extruded 6061 aluminium that is environmentally sealed and features a 35 pin main connector.
The system can be configured with 4 injector drives and 1 ignition output or with 2 injector and 2 ignitions as a distributorless batch fire system.
Main communications is via a high speed serial port. External data loggers or dash displays can be interfaced via a current loop output.
The X1 ECU has the following features:-
The X1 supports 3D Fuel, Spark and Phase maps with 40 rpm sites and 20 load sites all user programmable. The ECU can store 2 complete maps that can be switched on the fly.
The X1 ECU hosts a full line of control strategies as standard for racing applications including: Closed loop lambda, Boost Control, Pit Limiter, Shift Cut, Engine Protection, Self Diagnostics and more.
