Mike Gondziola wins the final round of the Pro Nitrous class at Mission Raceway Park with a new career best run of 5.85 at 245 mph.
Mike continued his dominance in Nitrous Pro Mod racing with a new career best but unfortunately at the end of his run his chutes did not open. The car did sustain slight damage and they were workng hard on it so they could continue Saturday.
In the final both the winner Mike Gondziola and runner-up Garrett Richards had issues. First it was "Gonzi" who had to pedal the car and get right off the gas he he had traction issues. He must have seen Richard's have his own issues as he got back on the loud pedal as Garrett hit the center line. Gondziola is the back to back champion with a hard earned victory.
The Fuel injection, Ignition and Nitrous systems are all controlled by the EFI Technology XTR ECU.
Mikes C7 Corvette is powered by a Sonnys Racing Engines 959 Pro Mod engine and is also running the new EFI Technology high performance C1 Ignition System.
