The R1i Outlaw is a programmable Ignition designed for Midget and Sprint car racing engines and can direct drive up to four external coils.
The R1i Outlaw Ignition is NOT approved for use in USAC sanctioned events.
Communications is a via high speed USB port. External data loggers or dash displays can be interfaced via a current loop serial interface.
The Ignition utilizes a unique 5 tooth trigger wheel and single crank pickup for its high resolution engine rpm signal.
The enclosure is extruded 6061 aluminium that is environmentally sealed and features an Autosport 19 pin main connector.

The R1i has additional inputs that can be recorded with the internal data logger or transmitted on a serial link to an external dash display
The programmable R1i Ignition features dual spark maps with 20 adjustable rpm sites. Coil characteristics, rev-limiter and tach output are all programmable.
Its compact design features an integrated heatsink with mil-spec connector allowing for a small lightweight package with high output.
The R1i interfaces with our new Mini Dash LED display. The dash has 5 programmable engine rpm LED's and 2 segment displays for Coolant Temp and Oil Pressure. Click HERE for further information.
