The R1 ECU is a fully sequential 8 cylinder engine control system designed for the GM LS engine. The enclosure is extruded 6061 aluminium that is environmentally sealed and features 34 and 26 pin main connectors.
The R1 supports both 24x and 58x crank signal frames but also can use a standard 4 tooth crank wheel.
Main communications is via wireless Bluetooth interface or a high speed USB port. External data loggers or dash displays can be interfaced via a current loop or CAN bus output.

The R1 is a fully sequential 8 cylinder system that supports 3D Fuel, Spark and Phase maps with 40 rpm sites and 20 load sites all user programmable.
The ECU comes as standard with internal data logger, live tuning, closed loop lambda control and self learn strategy. Drive by Wire throttle is also available as an option.
In addition the R1 ECU hosts a full line of strategies for racing applications including: Idle Control, Closed loop lambda, Boost Control, Drive by Wire, Self Learn, Engine Protection, Self Diagnostics and much more.
