The R16 ECU is a fully sequential engine control system with 16 low impedance injector drivers designed for Turbocharged and Supercharged Drag Race applications.
The enclosure is extruded 6061 aluminium that is environmentally sealed and features 2 Autosport 55 pin main connectors.
The R16 ECU has a 3D injector bias map to allow fully programmable bias between each injector per cylinder. Injector phasing (start of injection) is also fully programmable.
Main communications is via wireless Bluetooth interface or a high speed USB port. External data loggers or dash displays can be interfaced via a current loop or CAN bus output.

The R16 is a fully sequential 8 cylinder system that supports 3D Fuel, Spark and Phase maps with 40 rpm sites and 20 load sites all user programmable.
The R16 has 16 fully sequential low impedance injector drivers that can be programmed to operate in either standard mode, staged injection or split mode using the 3D bias map.
The R16 can drive either 8 individual coils a CD Ignition System or an MSD Pro Mag directly.
The R16 interfaces with the CFI Controller. The DC Motor controlled pressure regulator monitors and adjusts the fuel flow to a spray bar installed in the Blower Hat of a Supercharged engine.
The R16 has 6 dedicated outputs for transmission control and can fully replicate all the standard ACD box functions. Shift points can be set by rpm, time or with a manual over-ride.
There are 2 programmable converter lockup outputs available that are switched by time with rpm limits.
In addition the R16 ECU hosts a full line of strategies for racing applications including: Launch Control, Idle Control, Closed loop lambda, Boost Control, Vanos Control, Paddle Shift, Engine Protection, Self Diagnostics and much more.
